Georgia began her dance education at the very young age of 3, but her mother says she came out dancing! She took classes at a local studio and at school and quickly began teaching classes to pay to expand her own learning. She continued teaching and taking dance throughout her education. Georgia only took a brief hiatus until her introduction to the art of the Tease; Burlesque. She began working at The Clocktower Cabaret, in their box office, where she learned (from some of the greats!) everything she needed to know about burlesque to start performing, producing, and even teaching again! 7 years after beginning her burlesque journey and 5 years after her Georgia May Wake performance debut, she partnered to co-found The Rhinettes, an Inclusive Denver-based Dance Troupe specializing in Burlesque. She just wants everyone to know that every body is a dancer's body! You just have to feel it.

Now, who is Georgia May Wake? Well...
This Nerdy Burlesque Warrior is a producer, performer, and teacher who likes to mix social issues with pop culture to give you a relatable performance with a message. But she doesn't stop there... She also has a quirky side that is sure to entertain you from the bottom of your naughty bits to the top of your funny bone(r)!

She's the proud 2022 "Best Buds" Winner with duet partner Mars Fury at the Mile High Burlesque Festival. And she's ecstatic to return in 2023 to defend the title with duet partner Miss Monroe! She was also honored to perform in the Colorado Burlesque Festival in 2021 with the Dolly Day Dancers and in 2022 with partner Miss Monroe. She's very excited to participate in the 2023 Golden Legends Championship Challenge in Las Vegas, NV under the mentorship of Vixen DeVille! In addition to the festival circuit, Georgia has also had the pleasure of performing in venues like The Oriental Theater, The Clocktower Cabaret, and many other amazing local stages.
